I had a fantastic surprise in Palma. I had heard of the historical part and its Cathedral, but walking and experiencing it in first person is amazing. History is breathed in every corner. The coolest thing is that tourism is located in other locations. The old part of the city is not too frequented and, even less, at night. I really appreciate it.
And walking calmly through its streets they took me to this corner. The "Café Murada" is an Italian restaurant that is located in a small palace on the walls of Palma. The reform was carried out by the Mallorcan architect Gabriel Alomar.
One of the things I like the most is its location. It's on the Passeig Dalt Murada which is a pedestrian walk that is worth walking it. It begins at the beautiful Cathedral of Palma and ends in a viewpoint that gives fantastic views of the bay of Palma.
The restaurant is small and has a lot of charm. They have taken advantage of the stone arcade, supported on columns, to delimite the double level. The place is really cute and has a very cozy atmosphere.
Outside, on the same promenade, they have placed small tables with candles. There are very few; that means that if you want to dine out in the summer it is better to book a table in advance.
Type: Italian cuisine. The chef cooks with original Ballarini products from Italy. One of their specialties is Tzigoiner, which is a beef skewer with bacon served on a potato wafer. I didn't try it, but it seems good. I ate delicious fresh pasta.
Very good relation quality-price.
